SHOCKING DISPLAY BY INDIA IN 5TH ODI AGAINST S.AFRICA

Going by the erratic performance by India in previous ODI's, the defeat was inevitable. But the manner in which it came was shocking and shamefull.

It appeared as if YUSUF PATHAN alone was staging a losing battle. Why can't our batsmen just stay at the crease and apply themselves well while sticking to the basics. They displayed lack of aptitude, technique and will to win.Name any batsman who batted well. All played GALLI cricket shots.

Mr DHONI must accept the flake for such a dismal show. Did he ever play a captain's knock in any of the one dayers? Media must rip him apart for POOR captaincy. And selectors must warn him and seek his explanation for such a poor show which has let down a great cricketing nation. BUT,THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Our media and selectors are afraid of this cricket icon.

S.Africa played like champions and rightly deserved to win. Weldone S Africa.

Warning bells must be heard by selectors loud and clear. THIS team can not win the World Cup starting next month...... What is the solution?

Cheerleaders: Improved

Certainly the voice of some select lot has been heard and pretty pom pom girls have adorned slacks.Unfair for the dancing dolls. I wonder how they feel dancing with slacks and sweating as well .Where are we heading to with the IPL matches not even half way through?

Are we going to see more dress changes , yes, may be.Whatever happens but one thing is certain,the debate on cultural changes , dress code and dancing style of item girls , cabaret dancers and some TV artists on one side visa a vis Cheerleaders on the other has taken off. Lets wait and watch the outcome.

The tempo of dancing has surely reduced and at times just appears mechanical without emotions and the spirit of earlier days.Who is to be blamed for that?Slacks of course and one thing is for sure .......the tempo will fade out and i feel most of the pom pom girls will drop out coz they no longer would enjoy dancing

The CHEERLEADERS

All over the world, any match of any kind seems rudderless without cheering by spectators purely to encourage participants to perform better. Well, times have changed and so has the cheering style.

Why are we gunning for these pretty cheerleaders from all the world?There is nothing vulgar in their dress or dance style .There is nothing obscene in what they do and how they conduct themselves during matches. Are they not entertaining and delighting the crowds?Well , yes they are.So whats the big issue?

Let me tell you that the so called obscene dresses, revealing clothes have been continuously worn by many bollywood actresses, ramp models , television stars and the like. who with their pelvic movements and gyrations at times, look total vulgar and pathetic.The dresses of cabaret dancers and item girls in our movies leave nothing to imagination.And they are being watched in every house by young and the aged alike. Yet, all that is acceptable to everyone and no one raises any objections. Well, kudos to our double standards. Isn"t that unfair?
